I ordered this book because I somehow started following the author on Instagram a long time ago and I finally saw that she had published this. You can tell that she is a beginner and not technically trained but after just flipping through and reading poems that caught my eye, I was amazed by some of the devices she used. Like, my jaw actually dropped because I though they were so smart. There were a couple typo's, but nothing that took away from her writing. Some of her poems are very rupi kaur, which isn't my taste at all, but some of her poems were so new and fresh and like nothing I've read. Some of the poems also really reminded me of Anne Sexton's whole vibe, but in a new modern way. I honestly really hope she continues to write and read poetry and start to focus more and more on her style because some of the words in here really moved me and I want to read more.
I am very picky for poetry books so was hesitant to try this. 7,300 days was one of my favorite books of poetry I have ever read (twice!). So well written and intriguing. Can't wait for more from Isabella! Would definitely recommend.
Read abt halfway through and a lot of the poems we're pretty good and heartfelt and sincere. But then it seemed like a lot of Rupi Kaur copycats (the art inside the book isn't that well drawn either) I've seen all on Instagram and had a lot of pretentious poems abt being a vegan and how me eating meat is raping mother Earth and completely lost interest
This book is amazing. Although each page is its own writing, they’re all interconnected. It’s one of (if not) my favorite books.
Isabella is so young but so talented when it comes to poetry. I loved her outlook on life and growing up. This has made it's way to the top of my favorite poetry list.
felt like a coming of age type-book, i love it!! Definitely gonna read it a few more times
