One of the few rentals I didn't feel overcharged. Got me through my Troubleshooting course. Text is pretty easy to understand. There's a lot of outdated technology referenced in this book, but you'll need to know it for the A++ exam. I will say it was reasonable modern with many components. Some of which I used for a recent build.
This product DOES NOT come with the access codes for online content AS ADVERTISED. DO NOT BUY HERE, buy from their website if you absolutely must buy this. Unfortunately, they are raking in the dough from community colleges who tell you to buy these books, but don't even really use them. I'm returning mine since I needed the online access.
Son used it in his CompTIA class and found it helpful in passing the class. (901 hardware). Unfortunately the discount code provided in the book did not work when registering for the test.Clearly written, accurate and helpful in passing the A+ 901 exam.

Book was not wrapped in cellophane when it arrived and access card for online resources had been removed. Have to buy access code separately now and pay more money
